Do Your Loved Ones Know How Much They Mean To You?
This Week's Simple Tip
I recently attended a celebration of life service for a vibrant person in his forties who passed away unexpectedly. Friends and relatives from his life shared stories and fond memories of their times with him, but also expressed sadness in not having told him how much he meant to them. Sadly, we rarely take the time to consciously reflect on the relationships in our lives until it is too late. Do you know who the most important people are in your life? Do they know how important they are to you? Don't assume that they know how you feel. Make it a point to thank them for being a big part of your life, and to let them know how much they really mean to you. We have no guarantee that either we or those we love will be here tomorrow, so don't wait!
This Week's Focus
This week, think about the people in your life who will leave a big void when they pass. Reach out to those people and genuinely let them know how important they are to you, and how much of a footprint they have made on your life.

Little Serenity Tidbits
1. Wouldn't it be interesting to hear what people say about when you die? Why is it that we wait until the end of a person's life to say nice things instead of while they are alive? Consider how much more impact we can have on others! Here's How.
2. We are all stretched for time these days, making it more important than ever that we spend our time with the people most important in our lives. Enjoy this humorous yet factual Madea clip of the different kinds of people in our lives. Do your 'root people' know how much you appreciate them?
