Are You Trying To Connect The Dots Looking Forward?
This Week's Simple Tip
We all have those times in life when we are disappointed that something didn't turn out the way we hoped it would. I recently encountered this when making an airline reservation. Cost, terrible seat selection and a long layover kept me from booking the departure date I really wanted. Had it worked out the way I desired, I would not have been around to attend the celebration of life of a friend. We can only push so far, and then we have to trust fate to show us the way. As this week's short clip expresses, you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.
This Week's Focus
This week, when something doesn't work out exactly the way you want it to, take it as far as you can. Then stop and TRUST be it in God, your gut, the universe, destiny, life, karma, etc. Eventually you will find what's best for you versus what you think is best for you

A Little Helpful Hint
In his now-famous commencement speech at Stanford, Steve Jobs shares some of his life lessons with graduates, urging them to pursue their dreams and see the opportunities in life's setbacks. He explains that "you can only connect the dots looking backwards." You can hear about some of his life setbacks in the longer version of this speech below.
