Are You Wasting Time On This?

This Week's Simple Tip: Yes, these are unprecedented times for all of us, and I have found it very interesting to see the way people choose to spend their time during this period of "quarantine." There seem to be two groups: The Mindless Worriers There are those who put their full focus on the virus - the good, the bad and the ugly. This sets them into worry mode which is a complete waste of time. Why? Because time spent worrying is time taken away from living in the present! Worrying is never about the present; people either worry about the past that they cannot change, or the future which they cannot predict.

The Mindful Planners There are those that embrace the current situation as an opportunity to improve themselves. Whether it be to learn something new, do something they enjoy, to do something to help others, or focus on self-improvement, they are taking advantage of the time for personal growth which will stay with them long after the virus crisis recedes. Which group are you in? Check out And The People Stayed Home for what it might look like after the virus if you don't waste time worrying.
