Are You Feeling Like A Tadpole?
This Week's Simple Tip:
Meet my new pet tadpoles!! I rescued them from a water bucket on the side of our house, and thought it would be nice to reminisce and watch them evolve like I did as a child.Change is a natural and inevitable part of reality in nature. This fascinating short video shows the metamorphosis from eggs to tadpoles to frogs, which is a reminder that I will be bringing them to the pond soon before they can jump!

Unlike creatures in nature, humans tend to be creatures of habit. Routines become automatic. Change is more of a "disturbance" that forces us into consciousness which at times can be uncomfortable.
Multiple changes at the same time can be unbalancing and/or confusing. This is what is happening right now with so many things at once: coronavirus, police brutality, white privilege, unstable economy, etc.
A great way to balance yourself in changing times is to get out in nature.
Reconnecting our senses via nature heightens awareness, enhances curiosity, and gives perspective. There are countless ways including:
Taking a walk
Bringing nature in to your home with a plant, tadpoles, etc.
Planting a garden
Working out in nature versus at the gym
