Are You Making It Better?
Sir Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts, told scouts to “try to leave this world a little better than you found it” in his last message.
Redcently I was at a memorial service where each of three sons eulogized their father. One of them ended his tribute with "my father left the world a better place." WOW ... think of what life would be if each of us did that!
What does it mean to make the world a better place? From a societal perspective, it means improving the lives of people, making life better and easier for people.

It is not difficult or expensive to do ...
Donate your time, skills or money to a cause
Tell someone they did a good job. Better yet, tell their boss!
Cook someone a hearty meal
Ask someone how they are, and give them your full attention
Donate blood or plasma
The list is endless for us all to leave the world a better place. Here are 100 ways to help others even if you're not rich. Each and every one of us has something that we can offer to others.
