Eyes Don't Lie - What Do People See In Your's?
This Week's Simple Tip
Are you one of us who misses seeing smiling faces that are now covered by masks? And yes, let's face it, there would not be smiles behind all of the masks. But either way, masks have altered our way of reading people's faces. Every day, when we meet someone for the first time, we evaluate their body language to gauge trust or distrust, security, contentment, fear, etc.

Just as the smile or frown hidden behind the mask, looking into a person’s eyes can tell you what the person thinks and feels. They show the truth, no matter what face we put on.
Unlike mouths though, the eyes cannot hide anything. Believe it or not, if you like something, your pupils dilate involuntarily, and they contract as a sign of rejection. Check out how much other information our eyes can convey ...

Think about what your eyes are communicating. While people can't see your mouth, smiling or not, they can still see your eyes which may be even more revealing!
This Week's Focus:
This week, start paying attention to eyes. Once you notice what other people's eyes communicate, you'll gain a better appreciation of what your eyes are saying nonverbally.
