How Do You Look At It?
We all have moments where we lose perspective. I know for me, I can get worked up about trivial things that at the time seem quite important, only to realize later that I had blown the situation way out of proportion.
The other night, my husband and I watched "Don't Look Up" which is streaming on Netflix. The cast is what attracted us -- Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Meryl Streep. It is not one of those movies that I say "you have to see," but the satirical film about a doomsday comet and how people choose to spend their last moments alive was thought-provoking.

Think about it. If a comet was headed towards Earth, and life as we know it was about to end, we all have a choice. Would you spend your final days stressing and worrying about things you have absolutely no control over? Or would you be happier with your loved ones with whatever time you have left?
While this sounds like an extreme situation, it is a good reminder to keep things in perspective in our lives. Learn to ascertain what you cannot control and acknowledge this with unwavering acceptance. Then focus on positive steps you can control instead, keeping perspective on what's most important to you in your life.
