How Do You Really Feel?
I am normally an upbeat and positive person, but last week was an exception. It seems that I have been surrounded by illness and death as of late, and it all got to where it felt very heavy on me last week.
Fortunately I have friends I can talk to about it, and I know the coping tools that work for me: playing in the dirt, meditation, stretching and breathing, and journaling. I did them all and felt some relief.
And then a friend sent this image that was a wonderful reminder that this too shall pass ...
It is easy to want to wish away those bad days or weeks, but it is important for us to never regret a day in our life as:
Good days give happiness, Bad days give experience, Worst days give lessons, And best days give memories.
Every situation in life is temporary. Some are good, and some are bad, but EVERY DAY IS A GIFT, which is why it is called the present.
This Week's Focus:
This week, be mindful of your days. Are they giving you happiness, experience, lessons or memories? Remember that each situation is temporary.
