What Do Norman Rockwell, Ellen DeGeneres And You Have In Common?
This Week's Simple Tip:
This 4th of July will be very different from past years. Last year I was blessed to be at James Taylor's July 4th tradition of an extra special concert at Tanglewood, his Massachusetts hometown venue. What a wonderful memory ... here's Sweet Baby James from that night just in case you want to hear it for your thousandth time!
We also visited the nearby Norman Rockwell Museum, where I bought this beautiful refrigerator magnet of Rockwell's 1961 painting, titled Golden Rule. Inspired by the Golden Rule being a universal principle threading through all religions, the painting features men, women, and children of different races, religions, and ethnicities, gathered together with the simple but universal phrase: “Do Unto Others as You Would Have Them Do Unto You.”

Ellen DeGeneres also stresses kindness, ending her show each day with "Be Kind To One Another." And she means being kind to everyone not just those like you. Click below to watch Ellen share a very timely lesson on value of civility ...
This Week's Focus:
This week, let's refrain from judging others and instead take civility to the next level. Befriend others regardless of their ethnicity, political views and beliefs.
