What Hurts More?
I strongly recommend the movie Top Gun: Maverick. Not only is it an action-packed feel-good movie that we can all use right now, but there are some very touching scenes as well.
Without spoiling the movie, the biggest tear-jerk scene to me is when Val Kilmer (Iceman) explains to Tom Cruise (Maverick) that he needs to accept the future and let go of the past. Tom Cruise replies "I don't know how."

One of the hardest lessons in life is letting go – whether it’s guilt, anger, love or loss. Change is never easy – you fight to hold on and you fight to let go. You’ve have to emotionally free yourself from some of the things that once meant a lot to you, so you can move beyond the past and the pain it brings you. While at the time it may seem impossible, sometimes it hurts more to hold on than it does to let go. Letting go is knowing that thoughts can change and what’s valuable today may not be tomorrow. Letting go is accepting loss as a fundamental part of your life, practicing acceptance, and cultivating a flexible mind and an honest heart.
