What Makes You Laugh?
It is a beautiful fall day as I sit and write this newsletter with my office windows open. The joyous sound of kids laughing and playing fills the air, and I can't help but to smile.
It is funny to think about how much more we laughed as children. On a good day, kids may laugh together hundreds of times. As adults, life tends to be more serious and laughter more infrequent.

Laughter is really essential to our health. Multiple research studies suggest many benefits from laughter:
Physical health benefits: Boosts immunity, Lowers stress hormones, Decreases pain, Relaxes your muscles, Prevents heart disease
Mental health benefits: Adds joy and zest to life, Eases anxiety and tension, Relieves stress, Improves mood, Strengthens resilience
Social benefits: Strengthens relationships, Attracts others to us, Enhances teamwork, Helps defuse conflict, Promotes group bonding
As more serious adults, we owe it to ourselves to seek out more opportunities for humor and laughter. Watch a funny movie, TV show or YouTube video. Go to a comedy club. Seek out funny people. Play with a pet. Goof around with children. Do something silly. Make time for fun activities. ETC.
As Bob Hope always said, "laughter is like an instant vacation!!"
This Week's Focus:
