Our area in Georgia got hit pretty hard from the winds of Hurricane Zeta. The fallen trees entangled with power lines caused many power outages, some lasting for several days. It was interesting to see how people chose to either make the best of the situation, or complain about how much they were inconvenienced.

It's unfortunate how quickly we lose perspective. How bad is something compared to all the good things in your life? Try these 4 tips for putting things in perspective.
It's amazing what you can learn if you make the best of a bad situation. Amongst my discoveries were:
Chocolate is a great substitute for coffee
How much I appreciate QT having power and coffee
You can start a gas stove with a lighter
Fallen limbs make for warm fires
Conversations versus television are quite enjoyable
Candlelight is very cozy and romantic
