Have you ever noticed that what seems to matter in life is the results we produce and not the actions we put in? It is an interesting dilemma because some things take time, and all the little steps along the way reflect collectively in the ultimate result.

Whether it is a project I am working on, weight loss, or learning something new, I find that if I skip steps, I often lose footing and have to go back before moving ahead. So I've had to learn to accept that slow and steady wins the race. This has been a challenging lesson because I like to see results. But knowing how important the little steps ultimately are, I have come to look at each of them as a "necessary result along the way." This little mind game is great for keeping you gratified you reach the ultimate result!


This Week's Focus:

This week, don't be hard on yourself for not getting anything done when in fact you've taken multiple little steps towards the ultimate result. Remember that each one of those steps is also a "necessary result along the way."
